2009 is the third season that Guy Snyder runs in Monday Money for JGR. Guy started the season in the number 57 with the Racing School as the primary on his Chevy Impalas. First JGR made the change to Ford Fusions on the 57, then Executive Security returned to the nummber 57. With just a few races left in the 2009 "Race for the Chase", Guy made the move over to the 54 in hopes of getting it into the Chase. In Sunday Cup racing, Snyder tries something new - team ownership. Snyder will pilot the number 98 Menards Ford for Snyder Motorsports with Rob Neises.
2008 was good for Snyder as he finished 4th in final points in AKM's Monday Money Series, in the Top 10 in Sunday Cup, and in the winter, 5th in the P.I.T.S. Truck Series.
The 57 team was formed mid way through the 2007 season to compete in sim500's FCS Chase. Guy Snyder was running sim500's free series when Rob seen a post, and got a tip he was a good, raw talent, driver. So Neises took the 57, which he had used to try to qualify for a couple races with, and handed it over to Guy, and let him run the last 12 races for JGR. Guy did well, he either finished well, 2 top 5's or wrecked trying. Guy was the second highest point-earner in the Chase for JGR.
