Neises said he did not have an extra Fusion as he was on the way to Kansas after the race to resupply.
The bodywrap for the SCKL Virtual-Railroad was already on the car from last years Chase race at Texas. Neises just had to apply the number 54 to the car.

March 31, 2009 - JGR Again Tail of Two Teams:
Dateline: Martinsville, VA

Rob Neises sat upon the pit box of the 54 the Racing School Chevy, hoping for something good to happen. Problem was, the crew was back at the hauler, trying to diagnose what had caused the 54 to blow up so early in the race. The race started better than most, with the 19 making the main race for the first time since Ron Rigdon got out of the car a few weeks ago. Besides the 19, the 07, 54, and 57 made the main race. Rich Jette made his debut in the 55, and the 56 sat out this week.
In the main, besides the 54's header problem, it was Top 15's for the rest of the team. Guy Snyder finished lucky 13th, right behind Justin Brooks, subbing in the 19, with the 07 again the most consistant driver, finishing 5th.
In the B-Main, it was truly a two sided coin. Jarett Foulds in the number 98 Menard's Ford for Snyder Motorsports with Rob Neies finished 11th as he too lost a header and the motor. But Rich Jette was able to hold off the rest of the field, and win the B-Main, JGR's first win of any kind in Monday Money racing in 2009.
Sunday Cup was also an up and down race for JGR. Richard Sprayberry was involved in an accident and finished 30th. Pedro Mojica had to take a provisional due to family issues and and was credited with 35th. Tony Brent was two laps down in the number 55 Clarke Racing Chevy, finishing 24th. Rob Neises announced that the number 56 team would be put on hiatus, and its status as a team downgraded to a limited schedule team in AKM Monday Money Racing. Driver Rich Jette will move over to the number 55 team, which is higher in points. Executive Services takes over as the new primary on the 55 as Clarke Racing's sponsorship ended at Bristol.
Driver, Tony Brent can be credited with the plan to consolidate the teams. He will run a limited schedule in the 56, including Texas and Talladega. Executive Services will share sponsorship with an as-of-yet unnamed sponsor on the 56.
Tony will be making the move to NASCOM's Full Throttle Thunder Series as the full-time driver of the newly formed 23 JGR Chevy in late April. Again Executive and an as-of-yet named sponsor will be on the 23. Tony will also continue to pilot the 55 Clarke Racing Chevy in AKM's Sunday Cup series.
"Reality set in," Neises said about the consoladation and re-alignment. Tony asked if he could make the change to NASCOM, and I could always use help. "Its cheaper to run at NASCOM, with better exposure," Neises also said. Neises also announced that Pedro Mojica would run selective races at NASCOM in the #57 JGR Chevy.

After the race, Neises announced he would be entering the Zack Black 150, a Charity race being put on at FXRL Racing. In his second event, Rob Neises qualified for the main event in the NASCOM Full Throttle Thunder Series. Neises started back in the pack, qualifying 21st in his qualifier race. But a daring 2-tire call by crew chief Lugg Nutz put Neises 14th in the field after the last pit stop. "Luggs knew what the Ron Jon Surf Shop Fusion could do, I just had to trust him, and keep the car off the wall with lesser left side tire, it was brilliant," Neises said about the 2-tire stop.
In the main event, broadcast on RLM TV, Neises played it safe, sticking to 4-tire stops with minor adjustments. Bringing the Ron Jon Surf Shop Fusion home a respectible 22nd, moving him up 14 spots in the points from 45th to 31st.

Shortly thereafter, Pedro Mojica was taken out in a wreck, he was sent back up the track, hitting the 07 of Neises, knocking Neises out of the race, 28th. Neises said he was proud to announce that the Racing School would be the primary on the 54, 56, and 57. The value of the sponsorship is unknown Neises said, as its a commission-based sponsorship. If anyone books a package from the Racing School from the JGR homepage, they will save 10%. Neises said that the 55 will carry sponsorship from Clarke Racing. The 19 and 09, JGR affiliate teams are set on sponsors according to Neises.
Neises said that besides the 6 regular rides, JGR has three Rent-A-Ride cars, the 07, 31, and in cooperation with Rad Rich Motorsports, the 43. These cars can be rented from JGR by emailing Neises at jgr_racing@yahoo.com.

Rob Neises arrived at Talladega this morning in preparation for tonights BSR Saturday Night Team Series. Neises who joined the series a week late last weekend was picked up by the Blues Brothers team, and will pilot the number 54 Ford Fusion carrying the classic Blues Brothers paint scheme.
Neises maintained the same low profile he adopted in late January for some unknown reason. A team representative did brief the media, giving them some incite to whats going on with JGR and Neises. She said she had been authorized only to say that the two sponsors JGR had signed over the winter have all either cancelled their sponsorship due to the economy, not met their responsibilities, or in the case of Southern Racing Design, just broke off communication without notification of whether they plan on fulfilling their contract or not. The rep said JGR is going on the premise that they are not planning on meeting their responsibilities. A possible replacement sponsor is close to signing according to the rep.
Upcoming, she said that Rob will be leaving after tonights race to fly to Augusta for tomorrow's ISRS Vintage Nascar finale. Neises just has to start the race to clinch the series championship, Neises' 27th offline Championship, his 28th pesonal championship overall, his 32nd personal/team championship.

January 19, 2009 - Neises Wrecked Out Early - Heads South:
Dateline: Homestead, FL

Rob Neises started mid pack in yesterdays Group B Qualifier Race for the XNR 500. Neises stayed mid-pack, moving up as high as 8th before the first caution came out, and Neises parked the number 54 diet Pepsi Ford Fusion. Seems a couple of cars thought banging on each other was the way to go 7 laps into the event. Neises saw the smoke and locked up the brakes, only to be rammed in the rear, sending the JGR Fusion into the air, and landing on its nose. The impact destroyed the motor, leaving Neises 37th and last in Group B points.
Neises has to have a combined 15th place or better in the two qualifying races to make the race from the qualifiers. Needless to say, Neises was not happy after being released from the infield care center. "The guys put a great car under me, and I was just riding around, guess I should of went to the back and maybe I woulda made it to the end !" Neises said before hopping on a golf cart and heading to Daytona International. Neises jumped on the JGR jet and headed south to run in the AKM Sunday Cup practice race.
Neises hadn't expected he'd make the evaluation races, but already invited, Neises had sent a car down there just in case for some extra practice. Neises described the evaluation race as dangerous, as he got hit by a spinning Jeff Hale, damaging the motor. Neises made his way to 11th before the motor expired and he retired.
On a positive note, JGR driver Pedro Mojica won the event at Homestead, and rookie Tony Brent took third.
Neises told the media he hoped his racing schedule would return to normal, but couldn't promise anything. He said he would miss the ECT race tomorrow as he will be with his children as their mother will be at work. Rob's kids house does not currently have the internet, so when Rob is there, he is not able to race.

January 15, 2009 - Neises Announces 2009 Lineup:
Dateline: Wichita, KS

Rob Neises sat down with Chris of Chris and Chris in the Mornings on KGSO Sports Radio yesterday. Neises, hot off his third place finish at Daytona in the trucks stopped in to talk 2009. Neises was in town to help his wife and kids move into their new house, and will fly out tomorrow mid-day to Daytona for the ECT Team Series event there. Feeds of the interview were released to national racing media outlets later in the day.
Neises said his AKM Monday Money roster and schedule is almost finished, but there are a few holes and unknowns, but he said it was done enough to make these announcements:
James Gang Racing will continue to be a major force in AKM, contrary to some "rumor" sites on the net. Four full-time teams are already in place, with a fifth full-time team waiting for a sponsors commitment before it will hit the track. Heading into Daytona, this is the roster. Guy Snyder will return to the 57 in 2009. A full-time sponsor has not been secured, but Neises believes he will have one by Daytona. Neises said no car make has been announced due to ongoing sponsor talks. The rest of the week, Snyder will drive for himself in the number 98 Snyder Motorsports Ford Fusion.
Chase driver Pedro Mojica returns to drive the entire season in the number 54 on Mondays. The Dodge Charger will carry sponsorship from Southern Racing Designs, with asssociate sponsorship from eXlander Web Design and Executive Services. Pedro will slide into the 57 for Sunday Cup, Midnight Thunder, and PITS racing.
Tony Brent will soon leave his post as JGR Marketing Specialist to return to the track in the number 31 Dodge Charger. Neises said he hopes to announce the sponsor by next week, but the ink isn't dry yet. Exlander and Executive Services are the associate sponsors. Brent is planning on running not just AKM, but other series under the JGR banner in 2009. In AKM, Brent is expected to race in the Sunday Cup and Midnight Thunder Series' besides Monday Money.
The fourth full-time car for JGR is the number 55 Southern Racing Designs Dodge Charger. ECT Champion, and winner of last weekends AKM 500 Rich Jette has been tapped by Neises to pilot the former 66 ride. The announcement of Jette as driver of the 55 was a scoop for KGSO, and Neises said he thinks he'll do fine. "Many drivers have a hard time with the transition over to AKM, but I've ran against Rich for almost 3 years, and no matter what kind of car you put him in, he comes out on top," Neises said.
For Daytona, Neises announced that he will have a fifth and sixth entry, possibly a seventh. Neises said JGR owns the numbers 56 and 07 and will put a couple drivers into those cars at Daytona for sure, after that, he said he couldn't commit yet.
Neises also said JGR has cooperative agreements with a few teams, that could spell up to 10 JGR affiliated cars attempting to qualify at any given race, and making JGR the largest affiliated team in AKM. The number 19 Neises-Rigdon Racing Toyota Camry with drivers RC Rigdon and Brandon Buchberger will attempt all 36 races this year in Monday Money racing with sponsorship from RevampedReloaded. The 98 Snyder Motorsports Ford will share JGR intel and technology in Monday Money racing. The 10th car is a agreement to co-operate the 43 with Sprayberry Motorsports in the Monday Money Series. Neises said he plans on running the 43 Dodge Charger at Daytona at this time.
Neises said he changed numbers on the two, three-digit cars from 2008, the 024 and 019, both numbers he acquired during the season. He also chose not to renew his license on the 66, leaving the 07 as the only original JGR Monday Racing number. Neises said he chose the numbers based on a commonality going with the 54-55-56-57 run, with the 31 chosen by the tentative sponsor, and the 07 the first Monday racing number purchased by Neises three years ago when he started pay-to-racing efforts at JGR. Neises said he would of liked to of kept the 66, but he could not afford to own so many numbers. With the 19, Neises said JGR owns 7 numbers.
Neises said he will attempt 6 races prior to the Chase, so he would be an eligible driver if needed during the Chase. Most he said he expects to be either in the 07 or 43.
Neises also said that the 56 and 07 cars would be for rent in 2009. Any one who wants to try a run in Monday Money can rent a car from JGR. Car rental is on a first come, first serve basis, and a one-week lead-in reservation in required. The cars, most likely Dodge Chargers, will include a pit crew in the cost of rental.
Neises said he would run the 54 in Midnight Thunder and Sunday Cup at AKM, and keep the number 54 as his primary number throughout the '09 campaign in other leagues. Neises plans on running at East Coast Thunder (ECT), Bomb Squad Racing (BSR), NASCOM, and SOAR-Racing (SOAR) during 2009, all in the number 54, with most of the rides being in Fords. He said the BSR Team Series would be the only possible non-Ford ride at this time. He said he is severely cutting back his racing efforts in 2009 due to the seperation and impending divorce. Neises said he expects to pick up a second job to cover all his expenses. He also said he is looking at retiring from racing on Mondays with the exception of the six Monday Money races. He said he plans on being on the pitboxes during the Monday Money races he does not race in.
Finally, Neises said it was with much trepidation that he is announcing that he will retire from offline racing at the completion of this winters ISRS Vintage Nascar series. Neises currently has a 5-point lead with 5 of the 10 races completed. "I need to focus on so many other things, offline racing is just one of the cutbacks I'll need to make with the divorce," Neises said. The announcement of his offline retirement is the second scoop KGSO can be credited with during the interview yesterday.
