Welcome to the 2023 James Gang Racing Website. . . . Rob Neises said, "I hope 2023, his 28th in sim-racing, will go better than 2022 . . . ." The Thoughts of a Racer in January. After only running 9 races in Early January of '22, Reality Hit! A disagreement between Rob and the owners of the former JGR Racing property and losing more of his right leg. Rob didn't return to the track till September 7th. Last January, he announced that JGR was going to a singular make -- GM. That means he would have piloted Chevy's and Oldsmobile's most of the time when he ran under the JGR Banner.
While Rob rehabbed and re-learned to walk and drive, Outlaw Racing approached Rob about joining. The newly completed, Garden Plain Race Shops are the home to Outlaw Racing with James Gang Racing. The Teams most-Western location. For Outlaw Racing w/JGR, Rob pilots Toyota's. For JGR-banner Racing, Rob prepares GM rides. . . . . Updated: January 1, 2023
