Partly due to JGR's part-time status, JGR has split into 4 teams, each team in charge of a specific car make's racing efforts. Currently, all teams have a car running in Season 52. . . . . The 54 team has been the lone JGR entry for the most part, since 2010. Injuries, finances, and a pandemic have forced the team to become a less-than-full-schedule team and program. Rob Neises remains the driver, now in his 26th year running/driving for JGR.
Neises has fielded most makes and ran most mods available in a helter-skelter schedule that has precluded him from making any serious run at any points championships. Neises considers Rolling Thunder Gaming (RTG) his home series after falling out with ECT's owner afterb 14 years racing and admining there. He still runs at East Coast Thunder (ECT) and Bomb Squad Racing (BSR) on the weekends. He went by the handle "DaBandit" all those years, but now simply goes by Robby Neises. ....Updated: 1/07/2021
