Rob has been sim-racing since August of 1995. The plans for Season 57 are again in a state of flux, as Rob begins his 27th year of sim-racing. The hands, back and neck problems are being controlled through pain management. Medically, this only leaves the right knee as not under control. People are working in the background to have Rob evaluated for an Ertyl Procedure. Its only performed by Dr William Ertyl in OKC. The referral process has been put on hold while Rob waits the 15-18 months to confirm no infection springs up.
After the Suspension from RTG, and loosing more of his right leg, Rob returns to racing in Season 57 at RTG, and the tail end Chase of Series 4 at BSR.
Still holding his attention on Wednesday thru Saturday is Bomb Squad Racing, a fun-first, competitive league. Wednesdays, Rob makes the anticipated move back to Chevy. Thursday and Saturdays. Rob will pilot Chevy's in the Cup and SS Series. Friday, Rob will pilot a Chevy in the nxs15 Xfinity Series. Primary Sponsorships are covered by Jones Soda Company and Ron Jon Surf Shop in Silverados, Thursday and Saturdays, its Ron Jon Surf Shop and Budweiser Beer in Camaros. Friday is SCKL Virtual Railroad and Buffalo Wild Wings in the Xfiinity Camaros.
Neises is not out of the woods yet, health-wise. He is going in for more test on his back and neck, with the results determining if surgery is required to fix them. And the experimental Ertyl procedure looms large in Rob's future.
Rob lives in Wichita, Kansas, he has two daughters, Ashley and Kaitlyn, and his son, Robert Cole. All three are out of High School, and attending Juco.Updated: November 3, 2022
