December 31, 2008 - Happy New Year From JGR:
Dateline: Wichita, KS

Rob Neises arrived home from Daytona Beach early this morning. Last night, after fighting a loose truck, and making not too many friends, Neises lost the motor on the number 54 Executive Services Ford F-Series. Neises who was in fourth at the time, with five laps to go, said whimsically that it was probably better for all involved. "I was getting a good run on the 99, the truck wanted to go forward, but pushed hard in the corners, if I wouldn't of blown the motor, I might of ruined someone elses night," Neises was quoted as saying. No races are planned according to Neises, who said he was planning on spending tonight with the kids, ringing in the new year.
When Neises met with passengers at Wichita's Mid Continent Airport, he wished them all a Happy New Year, and told a reporter at the airport, that he hoped everyone had a Happy New Years, and that 2009 was better than 2008 was. He also told the reporter that he would have some big announcements by Saturday. After signing some autographs, Neises made his way to his ride and left the airport.
HAPPY NEW YEARS to all JGR fans and family.....Rob, Guy, Pedro, Jarett, Tony, and RC, and their famiies.....

December 22, 2008 - Neises Makes More Announcements About 2009:
Dateline: Upstate New York

Rob Neises made what could be considered a suprise visit to Upstate New York. Neises was there to try his luck at ECT's Saturday Night Late Model Series.
Neises took this opportunity to announce the latest piece of the 2009 James Gang Racing puzzle. In a decision Neises said was tough for him personally, he named Pedro Mojica as the driver of the number 54 Southern Racing Designs Chevy. Neises said it was tough for him because he had planned on running the number 54 in all race ativities in 2009. He said a after-holiday discussion with Pedro led him to make the decision. "Pedro and I were talking on Friday, and when the subject of numbers came up, he said with Guy remaining in the 57, he'd like to run the 54, the first JGR team he drove for last year," Neises said. It became a no-brainer Neises continued.
Neises pointed out he had many options available at AKM for 2009. He could run the 07, run 54 or another number in other series, buy an 8th number, or he could not race at AKM anymore. Neises didn't point which way he was leaning, but he did say he would have an announcement on the 07 on January 2nd.
The full-time James Gang Racing line-up for the 2009 Monday Money Series is now: Guy Snyder in the 57, Mojica in the 54, Jarett Foulds in the 66, and Tony Brent in the 31. Neises also is co-owner of the 19 Neises-Rigdon Racing Toyota driven by RC Rigdon, and the 98 Nice-Guy Racing Ford, co-owned with JGR driver Guy Snyder.

He apologized for not making this announcement last night, but the details were not finalized till after the race was over.
Neises announced that he was part of another new team in AKM Monday Money Series racing. Nice-Guy Racing will field the 98 Ford in Monday Money. Neises said he'd help with the financial and shared technical info part of the team, but the day-to-day operations and car preparation will be done at the new Nice-Guy Racing shops in Dornsife, Pennsylvania.
Nice-Guy Racing's primary ownership team is Neises and JGR driver Guy Snyder. No word on who will drive the 98 in Monday Money, but Snyder is expected to pilot the Fords in all other AKM racing series. No sponsors were named yet for the 98.
The new team formation, means Snyder will move back into the 57 for JGR in Monday Money Series racing. That leaves one JGR number, the 07 without a driver, and one returning driver, Pedro Mojica without a number, but Neises did not say the two would be teamed together.

Neises started 12th on the grid in a race that the Roadrunners needed to take the top 4 places to move up to third place. Problem was only three of the drivers made the trip. Neises ran okay, but a bad pit stop almost put him a lap down before he was saved by a late race caution. The final restart seen Neises in 12th, teammate Gregg Trogdon in 11th, and the third member of the team, FND-Dodge in the trailer with engine failure. Neises and Trogden worked together moving up to 8th and 9th. A caution came out going into turn 3 on the last lap, and with some fancy driving, Neises avoided the spinning cars and finshed 6th, a half a car length behind Trogden.
The Roadrunner's ended up 4th in the standings out of six teams. There will be a new season starting for the series, but the teams will probably change, so Neises doesn't know if he'll be a Roadrunner next season or not. "I appeciate the fun and comradary of the Roadrunners, and only hope I can run with many of these same guys next time," Neises said.
The completion of the race and series ends the 2008 regular season, one that was mediocre at best according to Neises.

The crew was all smiles as they pushed the Lebaron to the 43's garage stall. As they pushed, a reporter caught up to Neises. He asked Rob the question on everyones mind - A Lebaron ? "The Magnum wasn't finished, and the front clip was going to have to be replaced, and Bud had the Lebaron, it was ready, it just needed a kick-ass JGR motor, and a body wrap," Neises said.

"Either way, I'm confident in either car, but if all goes well, I prefer the Dodge Magnum in tv races like this," Neises admitted. When asked about why he wouldn't return in the T-Bird tomorrow after finishing fourth tonight, Neises said, "You never know, I could put a totally different make from the two I've run so far tomorrow." The one bright spot was the Top 10 by Pedro," Neises said.

As announced a couple weeks ago, Ford contacted Neises about ending the 2008 Sunday Cup season in a factory-prepared Ford Fusion. Both drivers took turns in the lead, and both had their share of getting caught up in others mistakes, but when the Checkers flew, Pedro Mojica brough the number 024, RevampedReloaded Chevy home third. Neises did say that he will be putting a sub driver in the 019 at Dover as Tony Brent had prior commitments.

September 2, 2008 - 024 Misses Race:
Dateline: Fontana, CA

If it wasn't for bad luck, the 024 wouldn't have any. That was all Rob Neises could say after electrical problems caused Guy Snyder in the 024 to miss the main race. A third in the B-Main, and a 27th place finish by 12th place point sitter-Zac McDaniel, caused the 024 to loose another 3 points, putting the 024 38 points out of 12th place with only Richmond, next Monday, left in the "Race to the Chase."
"I know if anyone can get the 024 back into the Chase, Guy can," Neises said.
Only three races ago, the 024 was confortably sitting in 8th in owner points, but a replacement driver leaving the track before the B-Main, and Andy Telgenhof's suspension and subsequent point fine has left the 024 sitting 13th in points, with a 38 point deficit heading into Richmond next Monday.

Saturday the ISRS Open Wheel Series will be at the road course at Detroit.

September 1, 2008 - Neises Announces New Driver:

While Snyder runs the 024, it will be a Chevy Impala. Snyder returns to the 57 at Loudon, the first Chase race. In Snyder's place in the 57 will be Pedro Mojica, Pedro qualified the 66 car for JGR last week at Bristol, and Neises expects similar results at California and Richmond. While Mojica is in the 57, Logistics Resources, Inc will be on the hood, and the car becomes a Dodge Charger.
Neises said he would announce who would be in the 024 the last 10 races after the Richmond race.

The 66 Logistics Resources, Inc, Dodge Charger will become the number 54 LRI Dodge Charger effective at California. Neises said he was changing the number because he plans on making the number 54 his number next season in AKM Racing.
Logistics Resources, Inc, or LRI became the primary sponsor on the 66 Dodges last week at Bristol where Neises piloted the 66 in Sunday Cup, and Pedro Mojica piloted the car in Monday Money racing at Thunder Valley. Kodak has moved to an associate sponsorship role, and Neises announced that Schenker Logistics and Spirit Aerosystems have joined the US NAVY, Executive Security, Valvoline, and RevampedReloaded on the 54. Neises said he was close to signing a couple more associates, and announced that the US NAVY will be a special primary sponsor on the 54 during the races that bookend Veterans Day.
When asked, Neises said still no word on a replacement driver for Andy Telgenhof, but that he has narrowed down the field of possible candidates. He wasn't worried about not having a driver named yet, that practice doesn't really start till Sunday night. He admitted that he might not announce a replacement driver till Monday morning.
Neises wished everyone a good Labor Day holiday, then went to be home with the kids.

August 10, 2008 - Neises Makes Suprise Appearance on Local Radio Station:
Dateline: Wichita, KS

Witnesses say the personalities face was full of suprise when he answered the buzzer at the front doors of KGSO Sports Radio in Wichita earlier this evening. JGR's elusive owner/driver Rob Neises stopped at the station after work. Neises was invited to go on air, and agreed.
Neises, said he had to miss the AKM Sunday Cup race at Watkins Glen due to a work need, and thought he might as well stop by. He said he was planning on heading out early in the morning to qualify for ECT's Spoiler's Aero race at Pocono. He apologized to all the fans and media for his self-described ducking of the media the last month or so.
He admitted that even though he made history, Daytona turned out to be a financial debacle. Ron Jon's did not sign a big contract as he's hoped, and the team ended up taking itself out, only one of the five finished in the Top 10. And he said getting called to the big red trailer after the race was just the icing on the cake. He said that is why he let go a bunch of staff, and cut down to three full-time cars. He said he was starting to doubt himself, especially when Jarett Foulds asked to be immediately released the next week after Chicagoland. "I just felt like everything I was doing was turning to poop," Neises admitted. He said personal financial issues, and the impending re-seperation of him and his wife just heaped on the feelings of self-doubt. All of these things together Neises said caused him to cut back the racing budget, both personally for him at JGR3, and at JGR and JGR2. "I went from running 6-7 nights a week, trying to run my own league, and trying to put 4 cars on the track every week, to being a step away from walking away from it all," Neises said.
He admitted going down to three cars weekly, running only 3-5 nights a week, and putting the MWST on hiatus till October have really helped his outlook. He said he doesn't feel like a dog chasing his tail so much anymore.
When asked about what Neises sees in his future, he admitted a continuance of personal financial woes, moving out to his own place, and running three cars in AKM till at least the Chase. On a bright note, Neises said he has become more of a threat to win at ECT since running less days a week.
As for AKM racing, Neises admitted that reports were correct, he has signed RC Rigdon to finish out the season in the 019 car. He said he hopefully would be announcing a sponsorship deal that will allow him to run four or five cars in the Monday Money series throughout the Chase. "When the Chase starts, the 024 and 57 will be locked into all the races, so I can take some chances and enter 5 or 6 cars at selected tracks - sponsorship dollars allowing," Neises said.
Looking into a crystal ball, Rob said he hoped to announce that Jarett Foulds would be returning soon to JGR, and if that happens, a restructuring of the teams again to align them by relationships, etc. To qualify for the Monday Money race at Talladega - the only attempt planned for the remainder of the '08 season. And finally: one, if not both of his drivers in the Top 5 at the end of the Chase, and maybe even a Championship.
Neises again apologized to the fans and media, then said his goodbye's.

Neises led a lap early, and avoided the calamities that left only two drivers left with around 20 to go. Electrical troubles on the second place truck of ECT-Spoiler, allowed Rob to pit cautiously, and cruise to a three lap victory.
In victory lane, he thanked the team for all the extra work they've been putting in, and side-stepped most questions from the media. Neises did say he was planning on sitting down with the media as soon as this weekend.

A team spokesman said that Rob had been very busy trying to deal with personal issues, and that is why he has not been available to speak to the media in person. The same Justin Fuller who was parked at Infineon for rough driving. "We are on a two race deal," Neises announced. Neises said Justin realized what he did at Infineon hurt himself and the team, and he apologized after the race for his actions.
In the second announcement, Neises announced that Ron Jon Surf Shop would be the sponsor on all six entries Monday in AKM's Monday Money race at Daytona. "By making the field, and finishing well, I hope to convince Ron Jon's to finish out the season with a couple cars, if not the whole team," Neises said.
Neises said he would run a Ron Jon scheme next Sunday when AKM's Sunday Cup runs at Daytona. Neises answered a few questions about the wiseness of entering so many cars, but avoided any about JGR cars hurting each other, or the slip from first to sixth of the 57 car.

Neises said the car would be a Toyota Camry, and run a very limited schedule in AKM's Monday Money Series, starting this Monday at Daytona. He said he would have an announcement about sponsor and driver hopefully by Saturday.
Hand in hand with the purchase of the 6th car, Neises announced he was reorganizing JGR. He said it worked out that JGR in Monday Money was split between three Chevy's, and three Toyota's, his driving not withstanding. So in line with that, He was splitting JGR into three teams. James Gang Racing - will be the Chevy Teams of 019, 57, and 66. James Gang Racing 2 or JGR2 for short, will be the three Toyota teams of 07, 024, and 54. Rob's personal racing endeavors in AKM will be James Gang Racing 3, or JGR3 for short. Rob said he is still the owner of record on all six cars, but when JGR gets re-started on the new shops, the three teams will all have seperate shops. Ropb said he will use three numbers at JGR3, the 66 for Sunday Cup, the 07 for Friday Night Fury and Midnight Madness, and the 54 for Indycar Racing. He ran the 07 before the reorganization in his only Indycar start to date. The 66 is a Dodge Charger, the 07 trucks are Toyota Tundra's, and the 07/54 is a Dallara/Toyota.

Besides Guy Snyder slipping from 1st to 3rd in the points, the 66 didn't even make a qualifying lap or run the B-Main, and the 07 was parked for rough driving. "I am not pleased to see my cars wrecking each other," Neises commented during the call.
The bright spot was the 024, who moved up to 5th in points with a 6th place finish at the road course.
Neises would say that he couldn't comment on any changes he had in mind, because he doesn't have any. "We're gonna sit down and put our heads together, and go from there," Neises said.

Neises said that with the acceptance, he has also decided to return to his old racing moniker, "DaBandit".
Finally, Neises announced that this Saturday's Quack's SS race would be his last with the number 84 JGR team - well sort of. He announced that he was changing the car number of the JGR entries in ECT to the number 43, and changing from Chevy's to a Dodge/Pontiac roster. "I have wanted to run the 43 as its a double special favorite. It is Petty Enterprises and the King's number, and with Bobby Labonte signing on for life, it made sense," Rob said. He went on to elaborate that Bobby is his favorite driver in Sprint Cup, driving for his favorite team, the progression was natural. Neises said he would eventually like to change all his active sim-racing rides to the number 43, but realizes that isn't likely to happen. The change in make and number, and the use of the ECT tag all are scheduled to begin next week at the beginning of season two of Spoiler's Aero series.

He announced that after completing a prior commitment at Dover next week, Andy Telgenhof would take over responsibilities of the 07 MWST All-Pro Series Toyota Camry full-time. Telgenhof made last nights race at Lowes, but was wrecked in his JGR debut. "I get lucky on occassion," Neises said. He said he thought he had again in finding Andy. Through luck and coincidence, Neises has put together a pretty stout roster of drivers. Last year's find, Guy Snyder is leading the Monday Money points. His cousin Jarett Foulds was recommended to Neises to drive the 66 when Dan Loisel left the team, then promoted to the 019 the first time RC Rigdon left JGR. The second time RC left, Neises was put in touch with the current driver of the 66, Corey Stevens. After RC left JGR for a third, and supposed final time, Neises was gonna move the 07 to a very limited schedule. Included in the schedule was to find a road course specialist for the two races on the schedule, that's when Neises came upon Andy, who had left the 024 car earlier in the year. "If I can keep this roster intact, and add a possible fifth team, JGR will have become the Hendricks Motorsports of the sim-world," Neises told the media gathered.
Neises clarified when asked, that he wasn't announcing a fifth team, or that he has met with any driver about coming to JGR next year. "Before I can think about making that big jump, I need to secure this years drivers, and get some good sponsorship lined up so I can compensate them enough to keep them (his current drivers) around," Neises said in answer to a follow up question.

Neises is two for two in wins and poles as he sets out to win the ISRS Open Wheel title outright. Last week he took the double at Homestead, and earlier today, repeated the double at the street course at St Pete, Florida.
Neises announced that JGR was expanding its presence in the AKM Monday Money series. He said the 07 had been purchased from AKM to run in the Monday Money and Friday Night Fury Series. Neises said he would share driving duties during the MOnday Money series with RC Rigdon, and would segin running the 07 himself in the Friday Night Fury series. Neises said the 07 would be a Toyota-based operation. Neises said the Camry would carry MWST All-Pro Series sponsorship for Monday Money, but said he didn't have a sponsor lined up for the Tundra's on Friday.
With the mystery of where RC Rigdon would end up in the JGR line-up, Neises made the announcement that the 66 car in Monday Money would return to a Chevy Impala, and the new full-time driver would be Corey Stevens. Neises said he didn't even know that Stevens was available till he came up on the list of replacements for Rigdon.
That makes JGR a primarily Chevy team in Monday Money, with the part-time 07 a Toyota. Guy Snyder, hot off his second win in Monday Money will remain in the 57, with his cousin Jarett Foulds being announced as the permanent driver of the 019 effective at Phoenix, though the remainder of the 2008 season.

April 12, 2008 - Neises Announces Rigdon to Return:

After running a solid 20th at Richmond in the final race of season one of AKM's Friday Night Fury, Rob Neises met with media covering the event. There he announced that RC Rigdon said he would be able to make it to Phoenix this week for the Monday Money Series race there.
Rob didn't announce what number Rigdon would pilot, or anything else about the changes he alluded to last week. "At this time, all I can tell you is that Ron will be in a JGR car at Phoenix, and the MWST All-Pro Series would be on the primary sponsor of the car," Neises said.
Without answering any questions, Neises left the gathering and headed to the AKM trailer where JGR driver Jarett Foulds had been "invited" during the race.

April 8, 2008 - Neises Misses Main:
Dateline: Ft Worth, TX

Looking dejected, Rob Neises climbed out of the number 66 JGR/MWST All-Pro Series Toyota Camry after qualifying. He hit the wall in lap one, giving him the slowest qualifying time, religating him to the B-Main-Consolation race. "I thought I would have a good run, I just over-drove it on the warmup lap. Guess that's what happens when you don't get enough seat time," Neises said.
In the B-Main, Neises took fourth. He said he ran the B-Main instead another race at Texas to get the points for the 66, acknowledging that he needed a driver for the 66 to take Rigdon's place.

April 4, 2008 - Neises Rests, Returns with Changes:
Dateline: Pocono, PA

After running a gruelling couple of weeks getting ready for the AsherVan 250, Rob Neises took a couple days off to re-energize and formulate a change of plans. The need to change, first: Neises was not totally happy with the performance of some of the teams, secondly: the announcement Tuesday that RC Rigdon was taking a leave from driving.
To work on the first issue, Neises said he would be looking at the leagues and series he personally drives. "I am not guaranteeing it, but there will be a change in my schedule," Neises said. He says he has not had the equipment to finish races in at least one series, choosing to take a provisional rather than ruin someone elses race, and that bothers him. He said that taking a couple days off away from the track has helped a bit, but he hasn't made any final decisions yet on his schedule re-alignment.
The second issue that he worked on, he said he's at least a bit closer to an answer - loosing RC Rigdon. Neises said he has made some changes in the teams to solve his dilema. Effective this weekend at Texas, the 019 and the 66 are swapping. Jarett Foulds and his crew will now become the 019, while the old 019 team will become the 66 car. Neises said the swap includes shops, cars, car makes, and crews. That means the new JGR lineup will be Guy Snyder remaining in the 57, MWST All-Pro Series Chevy Impala SS. The 019 becomes the MWST All-Pro Series Chevy Impala SS, piloted by Jarett Foulds, and Rob Neises will pilot the number 66, MWST All-Pro Series ride, with a change to Dodge, effective at Phoenix. Neises said he would run a Toyota at Texas this week as JGR has scheduled with Toyota to run a Camry at Texas.
Neises did not say if he plans on campaigning the 66 the rest of the season, in a limited schedule mode, or fill in till either RC comes back, or another quality driver becomes available.
Neises returns to racing action tonight as he heads to Pocono for the next to last AKM Friday Night Fury race of the first season.

April 2, 2008 - Rigdon to Take Leave:

"I regret to announce that real life has forced Ron to take a leave of absence from JGR, but when he can, he'll be welcomed back with open arms," Neises said.
Rigdon, who works in Germany for the US Government, is being reassigned to a job that requires him to travel constantly, and he fears internet connection issues would force him to miss too many races, so he asked for his release, and the team regretfully obliged, Neises went on to say.
Neises said he would use the rest of his "vacation" to work on finding a replacement for RC.

March 30, 2008 - Neises Hoped For Better Finish:
Dateline: Daytona Beach, FL

After finishing first and fifth in the two practice races held prior to the AsherVan 250, Rob Neises was hopeful for a Top 5 finish. Electrical problems relegated Rob to a 13th place finish, eight laps down. "We lost the draft and lost a lap in the first half, but I knew we could recover, but two instances of the box pooping out, didn't expect that," Neises said after the race.
According to ECT Admins, the race raised over $1600. dollars toward the purchase of a handicap accessible van, at races end. ECT also said they would put a link on the siute for those who still want to donate. "I really appreciate all the help and support from the racers, and their family and friends," Rob said when hearing the total to date.

I have a special Spiderman 3 car to run at either Bristol or Martinsville tomorrow, if I'm able to make the race," Neises said about adding the message to the car for tonights race. The car is painted like the diecast car Rob made for Ashley before she was born.
In other news, Neises said he would also be sporting the "147" decal on the car tonight. The driver of the 147, Don Seidel had a heart attack before Wednesday's Outlaw Madness race, and couldn't make the race. ECT driver, Alvie Louks will fill in for Don tonight.

Dateline: Daytona Beach, FL

Rob Neises met with the media last night after winning the first of the two scheduled warm-up races for Sunday's AsherVan 250. Neises outlasted the next car by a lap. He announced that the MWST All-Pro Series would be the new sponsor on most of the James Gang Racing rides in AKM, taking the place of the AsherVan 250 and Executive Security. "Executive is in a place now where its probably time to make some real tough decisions, its not in a place to advertise like it did in the past," Neises said. Neises said he knew the AsherVan 250 sponsorship was a limited one, but the MWST will and can last through the entire AKM season.
The MWST will run monthly internet races in a series its calling the All-Pro Series. The All-Pro Series will pit drivers in many different mods, running superspeedway tracks. The MWST has announced its first four races. Cup 90 at Talladega on Friday April 18th; Open Wheel at Indy in May, Cup mod at Coca-Cola in June, and Aerowars 88 at Daytona in July. The series will culminate in January of '09, and the series winner will take home cash and trophy among other prizes.
Neises wrapped up the news conference by announcing the JGR lineup at Martinsville. The 019, 57, and 7 will remain the trio of Ridgon, Snyder, and Boykin. The 66 will have driver Jarett Foulds behind the wheel of the Chevy again this week. "He did well at Bristol, getting into the race, but like Dan Loisel before him, had bad racing luck once in the race. The three distinct schemes of the new MWST All-Pro Series sponsorship will debut at Martinsville.
Neises did let it slip that a fourth MWST scheme will debut at Talladega. He gave no other info other than that .

Team owner, Rob Neises was not able to be reached for comment, as he was resting after a hard crash earlier in the NASS Thunder race at Bristol. Later Neises said he knew there would be days like this, but he also knows that a good finish in the B-main, and Guy would still be atop the points.
In other qualifying news at Bristol, the 019 of RC Rigdon, and JGR newcomer, Jarett Foulds, both made the race. Foulds dnf'd late in the race for a 30th place finish, Rigdon ended up 18th. JGR/Wizrd Motorsports driver Bud Boykin misses his third straight main last night.

When Neises met with the media, he announced that Jarett Foulds, cousin to Guy Snyder, would pilot the number 66, AsherVan 250 Chevy Impala Monday in AKM Monday Money action. Neises said his poor qualifying effort at Atlanta was one of the reason behind the test, and the naming of Foulds as driver of the 66. "My poor qualifying was the reason to invite Jarett to this test, his awesome time was the reason he'll be racing the 66 on Monday," Neises said.
Foulds had been running a JGR Silverado on Wednesday nights in a driver development deal preior to getting the nod in the 66.

March 12, 2008 - Neises Misses One - Makes Another pt.2:
Dateline: Brooklyn, MI

Saying he would probably regret it, Rob Neises took a provisional in SOAR-Racing Cup90 racing last night at Rockingham. Saying that no practice on a very tough track, with the cars the way they are; was the reason he gave for taking the provisional.
But SOAR's loss was a sorta-gain for ECT. Neises instead flew up to Michigan, and jumped into the US NAVY Chevy Silverado. Neises qualified third, and was in 6th when he clipped the apron and took out 7th place Bob Slusser. Neises ended up 8th in the wreckfest.
"I want to apologize, I ran down there all night, but the last set of tires didn't feel right. I was trying to give Bob plenty of room, and I clipped the apron and took us both out - I'm really sorry!" Neises said.
Neises said he would be following ECT to Manasas and Atlanta on Thursday and Saturday, before heading to Bristol Sunday for the AKM Sunday Cup race there.

March 11, 2008 - Neises in Dark About Rigdon Absence:
Dateline: Hampton, GA

Rob Neises said he wasn'r sure what happened to the driver of the 019 car, Ron Rigdon. He also said he wouldn't speculate either. "RC is a great kids, him and Guy are the only two to qualify in all three of the first races, I hope all's ok," Neises said.
After speaking with AKM officials, Neises said that the entry of the 019 would be forwarded to next weeks race at Bristol.

March 9, 2008 - Neises Misses One - Makes Another:
Dateline: Hampton, GA

Rob Neises attempted to qualify for his first AKM Monday Money Series earlier today. Unfortunately, his qualifying time put him 38th on the grid, he needed to be in the top 32 to qualify. After missing the race, Neises pulled out his Bling Pizza / Mi Mi's Place Chevy Monte Carlo, and qualified it into the field in the NASS Thunder Series race, also at Atlanta.
After NASS Thunder qualifying, Neises said he would attempt to qualify the AsherVan 250 Dodge Avenger at Bristol next week in Monday Money action. He admitted that if he didn't make the race next week, he would take the off-week to re-evaluate the direction of the 66. When he was asked, he said all options would be on the table if he didn't make Bristol, including bringing back Dan Loisel earlier than scheduled, or giving an unproven rookie a chance like he did with Monday Money series point-leader, Guy Snyder last year. When asked about a rumor that he might start a fifth team, Neises said he would like a fifth team, but didn't expect it to happen.

February 27, 2008 - Neises Announces Schedule Changes:
Dateline: Richmond, VA

Rob Neises, finished 9th last night in SOAR-Racing Cup90 action. A pretty good finish considering he only got a few laps in before the race. Flying in from California, Neises missed qualifying and practice today, causing him to start at the back of the field at the 3/4 mile D-shaped track.
Afterwards, Neises met with reporters. He announced that after Thursday's ECT - Checkered Flag event in California, he expects to miss much of the next week or so of racing. He said that the NASS Thunder event, March 10th at Atlanta will probably be the next race he'll make. The reason for Neises' absence ? Its time for the Wichita Garden Show, and again Rob and Executive Security will be providing security at the event for the 10th year. Rob said he also would be assisting Show promoter as a personal assistant. That means that Rob will start on Friday the 29th, as opposed to the first day of the show, March 5th. He said he would request provisionals in AKM Sunday Cup, and try to keep Dan Loisel in the 66 car in Monday Money action. Tuesday he will request a provisonal in SOAR-Racing's Cup90 series, the rest he said do not offer provisionals, and he will have to take the hit in points.
Neises did say also that all of his rides would carry the special ribbon to advertise the AsherVan 250 upon his return, and several would carry the pink and white scheme he plans on running at the race, March 30th on RLM TV.

February 26, 2008 - Snyder Shows at California:
Dateline: Fontana, CA

As a team, JGR did better last night at the newly named Auto Club Speedway, formerly California Speedway. Three of the four JGR entries finished in the Top 15, with the 66 car finishing 32d. Guy Snyder finished in the money in 3rd last night, followed by RC Rigdon in 12th, and the number 7 of Bud Boykin in 14th.
Team President, Rob Neises was pleased with the effort as RC and Guy ran with each other most of the race. Neises, who had electical problems earlier in the NASS Thunder race, finished 20th, several laps down, also at Auto Club Speedway. "What can I say, the team is really jelling. The 66 has ran better than its finished, Dan has just been having bad racign luck," Neises said.
Neises announced after the race, that some of the cars next week will be sporting the pink and white colors of the AsherVan 250, a Cahrity race for Rob's daughter on March 30th. The only change so far, is that they moved the race back to March 30th, a Sunday. Neises said he was working on donors and sponsors to assist in cover expenses of the race. He said merchandise would be available soon on cafeexpress. He said ECT will open up sign-ups after their race this Sunday at Daytona in the GN70 mod.

February 19, 2008 - Snyder Takes Daytona:
Dateline: Daytona Beach, FL

As team owner Rob Neises went from pitbox to pitbox last night, it became evident with the laps winding down that the 57 was the class of the field. So that's where Neises spent the final laps, cheering Guy Snyder and the number 57 Executive Security Chevy to victory in the innaugural AKM Monday Money Series race at Daytona. "I wouldn't of believed it, if anyone had said we'd be in victory lane tonight," Neises said. He finished it with, "Guy showed us last year that he had some victories in store, and he started the season with one!"
Snyder was unfortunately the only one of the fur JGR entries to crack the Top 20. Bud Boykin in the 7, a cooperative effort between JGR and Wizard Motorsports was next best at 22nd. RC Rigdon was 29th in the 019, and Dan Loisel was 36th in the 66 car.
Snyder's win was the first for JGR in AKM action, the second in paid series action, and the 4th JGR win in two seasons. Dean Moll, driving the 77 last year won at New Hampshire, and Bud Boykin had a couple wins last year in sim500 free series action.

Which gave away the fact that the 66 would be the third JGR entry into the Monday Money Series.
Neises said his 18th place finish was not indicative of his team this year in last nights NASS Truck race. Neises pointed out that for almost 20 laps, he led the field, although he was 5 laps down. "I think we have a great superspeedway program at OMS," Neises said.
He did not answer whether he would be at California next week or not.

February 13, 2008 - Neises Clarifies:
Dateline: Somewhere in the air, USA

Rob Neises, President of James Gang Racing, sent out a release stating that he planned on racing in NASS' Thunder opener, Monday the 18th at Daytona. February 13, 2008 - Neises Releases 2008 Roster:
Dateline: Wichita, KS

Rob Neises, President of James Gang Racing, held a newsconference today before leaving the Sunflower State for the Sunshine State, and Speedweeks '08. Thursday is the kickoff for Neises as he pilots an Outlaw Motorsports Silverado around the high-banks of Daytona. Neises spoke about JGR's plans in AKM's Monday Money Series before he left, with the promise to disclose more at Daytona.
Neises said that JGR would have three entries to start the '08 season of AKM Monday Money. The 019, the 57, and another car yet to be numbered. Neises said the confusion surrounds the late entry to the series. The 019 will be JGR's newest driver, RC Rigdon. The 019 will be a Toyota Camry, and will start the season with sponsorship from the MWST League's AsherVan 250. The 57 car is returning driver, Guy Snyder. Snyder will pilot a Chevy Impala SS, and also carry the MWST sponsorship on the hood. The third car, numbered either 7, 07, or 66, will vary makes between Toyota, Chevy, and Dodge Avenger/Charger. The third ride will see three different JGR drivers split seat time, each running approximately 12 races each. Dan Loisel, new JGR driver will pilot a Toyota Camry with the pink and white MWST scheme at Daytona. Neises said a rotation had not been devised yet, but believes this is the way to go. Neises said he will be out at a special training for 4-6 weeks, and will be the second driver. The third driver to pilot the ride will be JGR driver, Bud Boykin.
Neises said if sponsorship would present itself, he would add another car, possibly two for the remaining restrictor-plate races. That was all Neises released before heading to Wichita's Mid-Continent Airport.
The week for Neises looks like this: Thursday - NASS @ Daytona, Sunday - AKM Sunday Cup @ Daytona, and Monday - On the pitwagon at Daytona for the AKM Monday Money Race.

Dateline: Wichita, KS

Rob Neises, President of the Midwest Sim Tour (MWST) announced the AsherVan 250 race. The MWST had earlier announced a 10 race/10 month internet tv series to be broadcast on RaceLM TV.
The AsherVan 250 is the kickoff of the 10-race series, and a special charity event. The proceeds from the AsherVan 250 are to go to help purchase a handicap-accesible van for Neises' oldest daughter Ashley. The broadcast will be Saturday, March 15th on RaceLM TV. The Main Event will be a 100-lapper at Daytona BR. The entrants will pilot COT mod cars with CTS physics, and the race will feature a custom-fixed setup.
Neises said a website had already been published at: http://avracing.executivesecurity-ks.com. The festivities will kick off Thursday, March 13th with the official practice session. Friday, the qualifying heats and consolation races will be run. Saturday, the Last Chance Race and the AsherVan 250 main event will be broadcast on RaceLM TV.
The points earned in the AsherVan 250 will count towards the season championship. The race winner will win some great prizes that have not been announced, besides points toward the season championship.
The 10 race internet, themed series will feature 10 races, each one will feature different mod and track combinations, but Neises said all tracks will be superspeedways.
Neises said he hopes for a large driver count for the series, but especially for the kick-off race. He also added that besides drivers, he hoped that sponsors and donors would step up to the plate.
"I just want to thank everyone in advance who hopefully will make getting my oldest daughter a van easier," Neises said.

February 10, 2008 - JGR Misses Totally:
Dateline: Fontana, CA

Rob Neises said business concerns forced him to miss Saturday's Last Chance Qualifier race, and therefore, the 3rd Annual Race for Victory, by NASS. Neises said he din't know what happened to the driver of the number 97, Bud Boykin. Bud left the track right after his Qualifing Heat, and has not been heard from since. Foul play is not suspected. "I guess he had some family emergency," Neises said.
Neises has yet to qualify for the race, and hoped by concentrating on racing, instead of sponsoring the race, he would have better luck.
Neises said he would be entering the ECT St Valentines Day Massacre, but was not sure if Bud would because of prior racing commitments.

February 9, 2008 - Neises Admits 2008 Up in the Air:
Dateline: Wichita, KS

Rob Neises, President of the James Gang Racing admitted that all plans for 2008 are now back up in the air. He said the only lock when it comes to racing as of today is that he will pilot the number 66 car in AKM Sunday Cup action. He said everything else is up for discussion.
Neises announced a suspension of operation late last week, but has been running hit and miss since then. He was unable to qualify for a third time for the Race for Victory this weekend.
He announced earlier that he had signed the last driver for his AKM Monday Money team, but didn't announce any of the drivers or the cars they would run. Leaving many to speculate cash problems are plaguing JGR again. It was last year this time when construction, which had just begun on the new JGR shops, was halted. Since that time, all the construction equipment has left, and the section of land is overgrown with pasture grass.

February 8, 2008 - JGR Misses:
Dateline: Fontana, CA

Rob Neises was concerned, but also very disappointed that neither he nor teammate Bud Boykin was able to qualify for the 2008 Race for Victory race through todays races.
Neises was concerned that after crashing his number 97 Executive Security Silverado, Bud left the track, and did not make the Consolation race. "I don't know what happened, I was prepping for my consolation race, and then I got the call that Bud couldn't be found," Neises said after the race.
As for Neises, it was disappointment, as lap trucks ended his bid during the qualifying race. "I couldn't get past all the lappers on the high side," Neises said. Neises was almost 6 seconds behind the rest of the lead lappers in a lap. Neises finished 14th in the qualifier. In the consolation, the fatique set in, and Neises brushed the wall, brought out a caution, and ended up 12th, 3 laps down.
Neises and Boykin have one more chance tomorrow in the last-chance B-Main race. Sunday on RaceLM TV will be the broadcast.
Neises said he had nothing new to report about JGR and 2008 at AKM. Theoretically, JGR suspended operations earlier in the week, even though he ran Monday and Wednesday in ECT action before heading to Cali for RfV practice.

February 5, 2008 - Neises claims JGR has Roster Finalized:
Dateline: Wichita, KS

January 31, 2008 - JGR Makes 2008 Announcements:
Dateline: Wichita, KS

Rob Neises obviously decided not to just take it easy, even though he couldn't get on the track today. He called a press conference late Thursday afternoon and made some minor announcements regarding 2008.
First, he announced that he would again enter the NASS Race for Victory - the third annual. He said he would pilot the number 07 Executive Security Chevy Silverado, and again JGR would enter a second entry, the 97 Executive Security Silverado. The pilot of the 97 this year - JGR driver Bud Boykin.
In relating news, he also announced that he and Bud would team up on February 24th for ECT's St Valentine's Day Massacre race on RaceLM. The Massacre is the second of 12 ECT races, Neises said he expects him and Boykin to team up for all 12. Neises said that he is having two identical 70 Dodge Daytona's painted up for the race.
He announced that the MWST, the internet race league founded by Neises last year, would kick off a 10 race tv schedule the second week of March, with a charity race to benefit his daughter. He said he'll try to qualify for the Openspeedway 500 also in February.
He said he is about a day away from confirming the 2008 JGR driver roster, and once that is done, more announcements will come, and at a quicker pace.

Neises then turned to his personal race schedule, announcing what he says he already has firmed up. He said he will run again a limited schedule in NASS Thunder and Truck Series action for Outlaw Motorsports. In 2008, Rob will run the number 07 in a very limited number of races. In the offseason, Neises reminded the gathering that OMS switched to Chevy's. He said that he has no primary sponsors lined up; due to the fact he plans on running so few races. He said Ron Jon Surf Shop, and the SCKL V-Railroad will be on the trucks at Daytona and Kansas, respectively.
Neises announced that James Gang Racing would be fielding Toyotas for him in the MWST Internet TV Series, carrying the number 97. Neises said JGR was building him a Oldsmobile Cutlass to run in SOAR-Racing's Cup90 Online Series.
Neises said he expetcts to also participate in the new AKM series, as well as a couple East Coast Thunder series in the number 84. At least of those series will be the year-long ECT themed-televison series.
Neises re-iterated that he hopes to have more information on 2008, including the complete JGR driver roster by the 4th of February.

BREAKING NEWS
January 31, 2008 - JGR Suspends Operations:
Dateline: Wichita, KS

Rob Neises announced that James Gang Racing has suspended most operations relating to racing. After borrowing some rides from friends, and teammate Bud Boykin, Rob Neises said he has had enough.
The final straw according to Neises was today when he couldn't get a car to run the ECT Checkered Flag Series finale' at Nashville Superspeedway. Neises flew back to Wichita, then made the announcement. Neises told the media at Nashville that he had expected new equipment to arrive today, but it didn't.
Neises said that JGR driver, Bud Boykin may be running some events during the closure with some of his own stuff. Neises did say when asked that he would be at Saturday's AKM qualifier if suitable equipment is available.

REALITY: My new computer was supposed to come in today. We had a blizzard in Wichita, and so it didn't make it. I hope to be back racing by Saturday. Practice for the Race for Victory started tonight, with qualifying for the race next Saturday, the race is next Sunday the 10thon RLM TV.

BREAKING NEWS
January 27, 2008 - JGR Arrives at Daytona:
Dateline: Daytona Beach, FL

Rob Neises and James Gang Racing arrived at Daytona yesterday afternoon, and unloaded a Dodge Avenger to run in a test session there. The Avenger, on loan, practiced on the 2.5 mile superspeedway, then qualified, and finished 4th in a no-points practice race for AKM Racing. Team President, and driver Rob Neises said he was happy with the test run, and the Avenger. Bud Boykin, teammate to Neisesd ran a Ford again, and was forced to retire early with substancial damage.
"Our whole program has been thrown into an uproar," Neises said. "We cancelled the one sponsorship deal we were about to sign when sim500 went under," he also said.

Here's the reality. I am running the old computer with no opponents cars, and no extra graphics on my old computer that is expected to blow up. I will keep doing this as long as the computer cooperates.

On the Monday racing plan, I have two other drivers besides myself, and a relief driver set up for 2008. I still haven't contacted the other driver. I thought I was sure about my lineup, etc, till last nights race at AKM. NightV arrived, and all the admins left the race. Nothing has been announced by AKM or sim500, so JGR's Monday TV series is in limbo till further, more concrete info is available.... Rob Neises

BREAKING NEWS
January 27, 2008 - JGR Cancels Schedule:
Dateline: Wichita, KS

Rob Neises made a very difficult decision yesterday. Neises announced to the gathered media that effective immediately, JGR was suspending all racing activities until further notice.
Reality is that my new computer blew up, and all attempts to get the old computer to run the Arena and Nascar 2003 were for naught. I took the old one to a repair shop, who informed me that the mother board was shot, and one more voltage spike, and it probably wouldn't even run anymore. Seems the person who bought it used inferior parts, and that's all she wrote. The game freezes up when I try to put my car into the car area. JGR will not race for likely a week or more while arrangements for a new computer are made.

January 27, 2008 - Neises Mum About 2008:
Dateline: Wichita, KS

Rob Neises made no comment yesterday at the newsconference announcing that JGR was going on hiatus till sufficient equipment was secured, about 2008 and the Feature Cup Series. When asked, Neises said he would run Sunday in the AKM Cup Series.
Neises confirmed that he got an email today, announcing that AKM would run a Monday series on RLM TV, but i gave no specifics. He said he has already lost one of his signed drivers, Mike Kelley. Kelley, who drove the 7 and 70 in the Chase last year in FCS has taken over Directorship of NASS' Truck Series. Neises has been unable to make contact about 2008 with drivers Guy Snyder or RC Rigdon, though Rigdon was signed in at the webinar the other weekend. Bud Boykin, who was gonna partner with JGR in FCS action said he was holding off, but was fearful of investing several hundred dollars into sim500, if it even is still in existence come February.
As for Neises, he says he is staying out of the fray, but would like to run on TV on Monday's. Neises did say he plans on running the entire ECT TV series, including February's, with a St Valentines Day Massacre, Mob theme.
Finally, Neises said he expect the 8th or 15th of March to be the first MWST TV race on RLM TV, it being a charity event to help raise money to get his daughter Ashley a van.

January 20, 2008 - Neises Finishes 12th in Pig Skin 104:
Dateline: Talladega, AL

Rob Neises maintained a sense of humor after bringing the Kansas Jayhawks Football Impala to a 12th place finish in the first of a year-long tv race series at East Coast Thunder. "Well, KU is a member of the Big 12," Neises said about the finish.
Actually, Neises, and teammate Bud Boykin were on their way to Top 5 finishes. Using fuel strategy, the two would of been able to finish while the others would of needed to pit again. But a yellow came out with 11 to go, and Rob finished 12th, one lap down.
Bud was challenging for the lead, and on the one-lap shootout, got shuffled from 2nd to 5th. "It was a good race, and we kept the cars clean, if I wouldn't of had that slip on the third to last pit, I could of been in that mix," Neises said.
We'll go back to the shops in Kansas, wait for the announcement about next months race, and get us a couple competitive rides for it.
Neises said he would stay in Talladega for the ECT Spoiler's Aerowars race tomorrow.

Wednesday will either be testing AKM tracks in some more Pre-Season testing, or Day 1 of ECT's set-up practice for the Pig Skin 104. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday will be more testing and practice races for the Pig Skin 104 at Talladega, with possibly some AKM testing on Saturday too. January 13, 2008 - Neises Quoted: "I'll Get Enough Rest When I'm Dead !":
Dateline: Fort Worth, TX

Neises made about 20 laps in the 07 Chevy before turning it over to another driver, and jetting to Dover for this evenings ECT Spoiler's Aerowars Series race there. Before he left the track, he met briefly with media there.
Neises didn't have any real news, but when asked about the hectic schedule between now and Daytona, Neises quipped, "I'll Get Enough Rest When I'm Dead," then he jumped into a gold cart and left the track. Besides today's testing and tonights race, Neises made three stops yesterday. A short trip to Texas Motor Speedway to test a JGR Fusion before heading to Southern Florida where he tested a JGR Camry in AKM Pre-Season Testing sessions.
